The data processing consent screen, and when the documents change
Why XomiW asks for your consent before you start, what each box on the Before you start screen means, and why you are sometimes asked again.

Under Vietnam's Personal Data Protection Law, XomiW must ask for your consent before it processes your data. That is why you see the "Before you start" screen the first time you sign in. No box is ticked for you.
The boxes on the consent screen
- Terms of Use: "I have read and accept the Terms of Use."
- Privacy Policy: "I have read and accept the Privacy Policy."
- Processing outside Vietnam: XomiW's servers are in Singapore, and the content of your tasks is sent to AI model providers in the United States to carry out your requests. This is a separate consent; XomiW can't work without it.
- "I am 16 or older." XomiW is only for people aged 16 and over.
The screen also has a "Data sent to third-party AI" section that explains which data is sent and where. The app has an extra box: "I understand and allow sending my data to these AI providers."
Tick all the boxes, then click "Accept and continue". If you don't want to, click "Decline and sign out".
We recommend reading the full Privacy Policy and Terms of Use before you accept.
When the documents change
When the Terms or the Privacy Policy get a new version, you see the "Our documents have changed" screen and need to accept again to keep using XomiW. Changes only apply after you accept.
This screen can appear while you are using XomiW. It opens on top of the current screen, so the chat or form you have open stays as it was. A message waiting to be sent goes out once you accept.
Withdraw consent to processing outside Vietnam
Settings has a "Withdraw consent to processing outside Vietnam" button (web: My data; app: the Legal & data group). After you withdraw, XomiW stops handling your new requests until you consent again.
