Create a company workspace and invite colleagues

A company workspace lets your team share projects, workflows and a credit pool, while each person's chats stay private. How to create one, invite and set roles.

Besides your Personal space, you can create a company workspace. The whole company shares projects, workflows, skills and a credit pool. Each person's chats stay private: nobody can see the content of someone else's chats unless that person chooses to share them.

Create a company workspace

You create it on the web (the app has a "Create a team workspace on the web" button).

  1. Open the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar (app: top of the Account screen) and choose "Create a team workspace".
  2. Step 1/2 · Workspace name: enter a display name, for example "Minh An Accounting".
  3. Step 2/2 · Company profile: legal name, tax ID, address, legal representative… This profile is required; XomiW uses it to fill in official letters and contracts.
  4. Click "Create workspace".

The beta limits the number of people per company; the create screen shows the limit.

Switch between workspaces

Click the workspace switcher (web: top of the sidebar; app: top of the Account screen) to move between Personal and your company. On the web, each browser tab remembers its own workspace; in the app, each device remembers its own.

Invite members

On the Team page → "Invite members", choose one way:

  • Email: enter email addresses separated by commas, choose the "Role on joining", then click "Send invites".
  • Invite link: set how many days it lasts and how many times it can be used, click "Create invite link", then "Copy link". Anyone with the link can join until it expires or runs out of uses.
  • Join by email domain: people with an @your-company-domain email who have signed in to XomiW can join by themselves. Only use your company's own email domain, not Gmail, Yahoo…

Unused invites can be **"Revoke"**d. Invited people must sign in with the exact email in the invite.

Roles

  • Owner: manages billing and can transfer ownership.
  • Admin: invites members, edits the company profile and other management settings.
  • Member: uses the shared projects and workflows.

In the Members list, you can set a "Monthly cap" of credits for each person. The cap only counts credits; it doesn't show any content.

Reports, official letters, spreadsheets, reminders: write one sentence; XomiW does it and asks before sending or deleting anything.
