Voice mode: talk to XomiW and hear the answer

Turn on Voice mode in a chat: press the mic to speak, XomiW sends it at once and reads the answer aloud in Vietnamese or English. With a Stop reading button.

When you are driving, cooking or just want a quick answer, you can talk to XomiW: ask out loud, then listen to the answer.

Turn on voice mode

Web

In a chat, press Voice mode under the message box (it lights up when on). The browser remembers this for next time.

Mobile app

In a chat, press the Voice mode chip under the message box.

How to use it

  1. Press the microphone and speak. Press Done when you finish.
  2. With voice mode on, XomiW sends what you said at once (there is no edit step as in normal dictation).
  3. When the answer is ready, XomiW reads it aloud. Press Stop reading to stop; pressing the mic to speak again also stops the reading.

This is push-to-talk: XomiW does not listen all the time and never interrupts you. Long answers are read only up to about 4,000 characters; tables, code and links are skipped, only the text is read. The full written answer still appears in the chat.

Safari sometimes blocks sound from playing on its own: then press Play the answer.

Credits

  • Speaking: 1 credit per minute (as with dictation).
  • Reading aloud: 2 credits per 1,000 characters read (a 500-character answer is 1 credit).
  • A failed reading is not charged.

Privacy

Your audio goes to ElevenLabs to be transcribed; the text of the answer goes to Microsoft Azure to be read aloud. Both are called through OpenRouter in zero data retention mode, processed in the United States. XomiW stores no audio: neither what you said nor the read-aloud voice.
