Staying safe with XomiW

The protections in place when XomiW works for you: approval before anything goes out, isolated code runs, reporting AI content and support when you need it.

2 min read

XomiW does work on your behalf, so safety is built into every step. Here is what you will see and what you can do yourself.

XomiW asks before anything goes out

Every action that has an effect outside needs your approval each time, through an approval card ("Allow" / "Deny"). Scheduled tasks that run while you are away only read and prepare drafts. See Approve before XomiW sends, edits or deletes.

In the app, you can turn on "Verify before allowing outside sends" so your phone asks for Face ID, Touch ID, your fingerprint or the screen lock before every approval.

Files and code are handled separately

  • Code the AI writes (to read Excel, build files…) runs in an isolated environment.
  • Text inside files, web pages or documents you send is treated as data, not as commands. The Vault flags documents that contain "odd sentences aimed at AI".

Details on encryption and data separation are in the Security section of the Privacy Policy.

XomiW can make mistakes

XomiW is an AI, not an expert. Answers about tax, law, contracts and health are for reference; have a qualified person review them. For health questions, XomiW doesn't give doses or schedules for prescription medicines, and it advises you to see a doctor if there are warning signs.

Report a problem answer

Under every answer there is "Report AI content" (web: next to the rating buttons; app: in "…"). Choose a reason such as "False or misleading", "Exposes personal information" or "Dangerous or harmful", add details if you like, then click "Send report".

You can also click 👍 / 👎, or send "Feedback / Report a bug".

If you are going through a hard time

If a message suggests you may be thinking about harming yourself, XomiW shows a "You are not alone" card under the chat with support hotlines. The card still appears when you are out of credits, and only you can see it. If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number (in Vietnam, 115).

Keep your account safe

  • Never share your 6-digit sign-in code with anyone, including someone claiming to work for XomiW.
  • Check the Devices page now and then, and sign out any device you don't recognise.

Give XomiW the job, get the file

Reports, official letters, spreadsheets, reminders: write one sentence; XomiW does it and asks before sending or deleting anything.
