Privacy: usage measurement
XomiW only measures how you use the website and app after you click "Allow measurement". What is counted, what never is, and how to turn it off at any time.

To learn which pages are useful and where people get stuck, XomiW can measure how you use the website and app with Google Analytics. This only happens if you agree. If you don't, you can still use all of XomiW.
The first time you are asked
- Website (xomiw.com and xomiw.app): a small bar appears at the bottom of the page with two buttons, "Allow measurement" and "Decline". Until you click "Allow measurement", the page loads nothing from Google Analytics.
- Phone app: after onboarding, the app asks once, "Help improve XomiW?", with the same two buttons. If you close it without choosing, the app asks again next time you open it.
Each domain keeps its own choice, so you may be asked twice: once on xomiw.com and once on xomiw.app.
What is counted, and what isn't
XomiW only counts a fixed set of events, such as: which page or screen was opened, clicking "Try it", choosing a sample task, whether a message had a file attached, and which file types were opened (Word, Excel, PDF…).
Measurement data isn't used for advertising: XomiW turns off Google Signals and ad personalisation.
Turn measurement off
xomiw.com site
Scroll to the bottom of the page, click "Cookie settings", then click "Decline".
xomiw.app web
Go to Settings → My data → Usage measurement and turn the switch off.
App
Go to Settings → Privacy and turn off "Usage measurement".
When it is off, the website stops loading the measurement code and deletes that domain's _ga cookie; the app turns measurement off and deletes the measurement data on the device. You can turn it back on in the same place.
