Pages & docs (artifacts): view, keep editing, share a link

XomiW turns dashboards, calculators and online reports into their own pages. How to reopen, keep editing, comment, see versions and share a link.

Besides Word and Excel files, XomiW also makes pages (dashboards, mind maps, calculators…) and documents you read online. Each of these is called an artifact. An artifact shows up as a card in the chat and is kept under "Pages & docs".

Open and view full screen

  • Click anywhere on the artifact card in the chat (not just the "Open" button) to open the page next to the chat. The card shows the type, version and time it was made, for example "Page · Version 2 · 14:20 01/11".
  • The top of the viewer shows the version and creation time of the copy you are looking at (Vietnam time).
  • "Open full screen" opens the page in a new XomiW tab. That address only works for someone who is signed in and allowed to see the artifact, so pasting it to someone by mistake doesn't expose the page. To let others see it, use "Share" (below).
  • In the app, the page opens in the app's viewer.
  • Pages and documents follow the light / dark theme you chose in XomiW's Settings.

Reopen and keep editing

  • Web: sidebar → More → "Pages & docs". App: Account → "Pages & docs".
  • Search by name, filter by type (Page / Document), by project or by pinned items.
  • Click "Keep editing" to go back to the chat and ask XomiW for changes. Each edit creates a new version; pick an older version to view it, and click "Restore this version" to go back to it.
  • "Compare with previous" shows what changed on the page.

Comment to ask for changes

Open the "Comments" view, write what needs changing (for example "make the September column a different colour, add a total row…") and click "Post comment". When you ask XomiW to edit the page, it reads the unresolved comments. When a comment is dealt with, click "Mark resolved".

  1. Open the artifact and click "Share".
  2. Choose "Anyone with the link can view" instead of "Private".
  3. Click "Copy link" and send it to whoever needs to see it.

Viewers don't need to sign in. The shared page doesn't show your name or the conversation, only "Made with XomiW" and the time the shared version was made. Editing further in the chat keeps the same link.

People with the XomiW app who tap the link (from Zalo, Messenger, email…) see it right in the app, with "Share" and "Report content" buttons.

To stop sharing, switch back to "Private", or click "Get a new link" so the old link stops working immediately.

Pages with data

Tracking pages (for example a list of outstanding payments) store data and can remind you of due dates. In the app you can view the page as usual; the data and due-date tracking part can only be edited on the web: open the page in the app and tap "Data and due-date tracking: open on the web".

Download

Click "Download" to export the artifact as a file (such as PDF or a PNG image, depending on the type). Deleting an artifact also stops its share link, and can't be undone.

Are calculators (interest, loans, salary) accurate?

XomiW is told to check the formula against a worked example before publishing and to show that example on the page (for instance 100,000,000 ₫ at 5.5% a year for 12 months → 5,500,000 ₫ interest). For large amounts, still check against your bank or your documents.

What is "This page wants to ask XomiW"?

Some pages have a button that sends a question into the chat. XomiW always asks you before sending it, and treats the question the page wrote as data: it doesn't follow instructions inside it on its own.
