The chat menu: pin, rename, export, archive, delete
The ⋯ menu of each chat: pin to top, rename, move to a project, export to Word/PDF/Markdown, see files, turn off memory, archive and delete.

Every chat has a menu to organise and manage it. The web and the app have the same items in the same order.
Open the menu
Web
Click ⋯ at the top of the chat, or hover over the chat in the sidebar and click ⋯.
Android
Tap ⋯ at the top of the chat, or press and hold the chat in the Chats list.
iPhone
Tap ⋯ at the top of the chat, or press and hold the chat in the Chats list.
Menu items
- Pin to top / Unpin: moves the chat to the top of the list. There is Undo if you tapped it by mistake.
- Rename: give the chat a name that is easy to find.
- Move to project: attach the chat to a project, or choose "No project" to take it out. From the next turn, XomiW uses the new project's instructions and documents.
- Share: in a company workspace, share the chat with colleagues. For personal chats, view-only link sharing is not available yet in the current version.
- Export chat: download it as Word (.docx), PDF or Markdown (.md). The file has the name, date, every question and answer, the list of files and the sources; it doesn't include tool details or memory. In the app, the file opens through your phone's share sheet.
- Files in this chat: every file you sent and XomiW made in this chat.
- Turn off memory for this chat: the chat is still saved, but XomiW doesn't use or create memories in it. This item only appears when memory is on.
- Archive: moves the chat out of the recent list (with Undo). Find it again under "Archived" in the web sidebar, or with a filter in the app. Search still finds it.
- Delete (in red): XomiW asks before deleting. If memories were taken from the chat, the confirmation has an "Also delete … memories" box (ticked by default; untick it to keep the memories). In the app, if it couldn't check how many memories there are (patchy connection), the box still appears and says "could not check how many".
Chat names
When you send the first message, the chat gets a temporary name from the start of that message (cut at a word boundary, with "…" if it is long). A few seconds later, XomiW gives it a short 3–6 word name in the same language as the message, for example "Savings interest calculator". The new name shows at the top of the chat and in the list straight away, no reload needed. If you only sent a file, the name is the file name.
- Automatic naming doesn't use any of your credits.
- You can Rename at any time; a name you set is never changed back by XomiW.
- Long names show on one line with "…"; on the web, hover to see the full name.
Find a chat
Web: use "Search" in the sidebar. App: the Chats tab has a search box and the filters All / Needs you / Working / Projects. A chat may carry a tag such as "Needs approval", "Working" or "Unfinished".
