What credits are, checking your balance and expiry
Credits pay for each task XomiW does. Gift credits from an invite expire; credits bought in the app never expire. How to see your balance and expiry dates.

Every task XomiW does uses a few credits. Short tasks use few; long, multi-step tasks (making files, reading many documents) use more. When XomiW makes a file, the credits also cover the machine that runs the code to build it.
How many tasks credits buy
The Pricing page, the "Plan & usage" page and the in-app purchase screen show roughly how many tasks each plan covers, with the credits underneath. The figures are based on the average charge:
| Task | About |
|---|---|
| One document or spreadsheet (Word, Excel, slides, PDF) | 32 credits |
| One deep research run ("Standard" level) | 200 credits |
| One quick question with a web search | 9 credits |
For example, the Plus plan (450 credits a month) covers about 14 documents / spreadsheets, or 2 deep research runs, or 50 quick questions. Each figure is one option, not a total of all three; real tasks can use more or less. The 300 gift credits that come with an invite cover about 9 documents or spreadsheets.
See your balance
- Web: the credit bar at the bottom of the sidebar; click it to open "Plan & usage".
- App: Account → "Plan & usage".
This page shows "Credits left", the "From plan" part, the "Purchased" part, the "Held for running tasks" part, what you used in the last 30 days and your recent turns.
Types of credits and expiry
| Type | Expiry |
|---|---|
| Plan credits | End with the plan period, renewed for the next period |
| Bonus / gift credits (from an invite, gifts, promo codes…) | Expire on the date shown on the Plan page |
| Purchased credits (bought in the app) | Never expire |
Gift credits from a beta invite are added the first time you sign in, once per email. By default they expire 90 days after they are given, but this can differ per invite. The Plan page lists each batch, like "… bonus credits expire on …".
Before and after each task
- When a task is estimated to cost a lot, XomiW asks first: "This task will use about … credits. Continue?".
- When you click Stop, the turn shows how many steps were done and how many credits were charged.
When you run out of credits or reach a limit
- Out of credits: the turn stops. Whatever XomiW already answered is still yours. Messages that couldn't be sent are kept. Once the app sells plans, the out-of-credits card has a "View plans" button; in the beta, before sales open, the button is "Message XomiW" so you can ask for more credits, then send your message again.
- The beta's daily limit: everyone has a daily credit limit. Once it is used up, you wait until midnight Vietnam time (UTC+7).
- In a company workspace, admins can set a monthly credit limit for each member.
Will I be reminded before gift credits expire?
XomiW doesn't send a reminder before a batch of credits expires yet. Check the expiry dates on the Plan & usage page.
Am I charged for a task that goes wrong?
A turn that fails on XomiW's side, or promises a file it can't deliver, is refunded automatically. See Credit refunds.
